May 3: Assumptions

There is one assumption that I do not agree with. It is that " We cannot truly serve those we do not know and love." Jesus served and loved anyone, even if he did not know them personally. Once you do get to know people, it is obviously easier to minister to them, but you can always at least try. Just give it a shot. Some people all they want is love, and even if we don't know them, we can show the love of Christ to them. We need to be open to share the character of Christ with absolutely everybody.
